All audio used on rainsoundsforsleeping.com is sourced from Creative Commons CC0 (public domain) recordings. CC0 licences do not require attribution, but we credit source authors as a matter of goodwill and transparency.
Audio Status Notice
The player UI is fully functional. High-quality CC0 field recordings are being sourced and vetted for loop quality. Audio files will be added to the player as recordings are confirmed. The current version handles missing files gracefully: the layer UI is displayed and responds to slider inputs, but audio will not play until the source files are in place.
This is a deliberate choice: we would rather launch with honest transparency than with copyrighted or poorly-looped audio that degrades the experience.
Target Audio Sources
All recordings will be sourced from Freesound.org (CC0 tier only) or FreePD.com (public domain). No copyrighted material is used or intended.
